As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large and complex data sets, developing models, and communicating insights to our stakeholders. You will play a critical role in contributing to the company's goals by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Position Responsibilities and Essential Duties: (others may be assigned)
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
- Develop, test, and deploy predictive models using machine learning algorithms.
- Analyze and interpret large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a data science or analytics role.
- Strong technical skills in Python, R, SQL, machine learning libraries, and experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with big database technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL is a plus.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
