Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop new visual designs for computers, smartphones, and digital products. Use sitemaps, process flowcharts, and storyboards for illustration and depiction of designs.
- Illustrate the functions of the website and develop UI mock-ups and prototypes.
- Create actionable design output resulting effective design and customer satisfaction
- Present designs and innovations to stakeholders
- Follow the client’s instructions concerning style, color schemes, and fonts, etc.
- Monitor and manage the previously developed systems.
- Conduct user tests of developed applications to evaluate user experience.
- Research, problem solving. and innovation in UI design to stay ahead of the curve
- Overseeing and contributing to the development of required creative; managing and guiding the team on the same
- Monitoring the designs and ensuring high level of creativity and quality standards are met or exceeded
- Regular interaction with the designers, peers, supervisors, managers, product team and client
- Contributing to the creation of strong concepts and following up on their execution with impeccable design quality
- Build, guide and lead an efficient team of designers, specializing in website design (UI) projects
- Create and conduct design training
- Collaborate with the operations team and assist to the best of abilities
- Should be able to manage a team of 25+ designers independently
- Open to work in night/day (rotational) shifts as per the operational requirements
- Evaluating and training designers.
- Consistently meet the KPIs (on Creativity, Quality, Training)
- Attending client meetings
Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of proven experience in UI at a digital agency /Corporate house.
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design tools
- Basic knowledge in the website build tools
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, BFA or related
- In-depth knowledge of design, marketing, and advertising concepts
- Should be well versed with current design trends and open to upskill with ongoing design trends.
- A people-person, capable of building strong professional relationships
- Excellent English comprehension skills to interpret client direction and expectations.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to details
- Excellent at coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members
- Ability to manage a group of team members independently.
- Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
- Individual contributor and team player.
- Ability to work in night shifts in a 24x7 work environment
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Should have a wired broadband connection of min 50+mbps speed.
