Senior Creative Controller - Team Leader
Responsibilities:
- Understanding the creative brief and converting it to actionable design output resulting in customer satisfaction based on their request
- Overseeing and contributing to the development of required creative; managing and guiding the team on the same
- Monitoring the designs and ensuring high levels of creativity and quality standards are exceeded
- Regular interaction with the designers, peer mentors, supervisors & managers contributing to the creation of strong concepts and following up on their execution
- Have a hands-on approach to designing as and when required to guide and mentor the team
- Build, guide, and lead an efficient team of designers
- Experience in grooming the designers along with creating training material and executing them in regular intervals
- Should be able to manage a team of 25+ designers independently
- Open to work in night/day (rotational) shifts as per the operational requirements
- Evaluating training needs for designer groups and/or individual designers
- Consistently meet the KPIs (on Creativity, Quality, and Training)
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a design team either in media/advertising agency or Corporate house
- BFA / GD Art / B.Design in advertising, fine art, design, or relevant field
- Excellent understanding of design principles and best practices, and current trends in graphic design; open to upskilling with ongoing design trends
- In-depth knowledge of design, marketing, and advertising concepts
- Excellent knowledge of all graphic design application Software’s (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and hand’s on MS office, MUST provide a strong portfolio
- Knowledge of design automation tools like Celtra and Flexitive will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent English comprehension skills to interpret client direction and expectations
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to details
- Proven experience as a Supervisor/Mentor or in a similar creative role
- A people-person, capable of building strong professional relationships, excellent at coaching, mentoring, and inspiring team members
- Incorporate feedback and take/give direction as well
- Ability to manage a group of team members independently, and able to deliver results either as an Individual contributor or team player
- Ability to work in night shifts in a 24x7 work environment
- Should have a wired broadband connection of min. 50+mbps speed
